The device consists of two main assemblies: a drive unit and a plunger pump, combined into a single compact structure by four screws and a connecting sleeve.
The drive unit is powered by compressed air at a pressure of 10 bar. As the booster does not require lubrication, the supply air must meet the cleanliness requirements specified by pneumatic equipment manufacturers, with a maximum solid particle size of 10 μm.
The pumping section of the device is powered by the gas being transferred. The pressure of the source gas must be at least 10 bar, which is necessary to ensure correct plunger movement during the gas intake phase.
The booster head is equipped with two check valves with 5/8″ UNF threads, allowing connection of high-pressure hoses to the source and receiving cylinders.
The booster cylinder is cooled by the same air used to drive the plunger. For this purpose, a specially designed cylinder cooling system has been implemented, ensuring effective heat dissipation.
Thanks to this solution, the booster is capable of continuous operation without the risk of cylinder overheating.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTION OF THE PG-03 PLUS MODEL
The PG-03 PLUS model is additionally equipped with a drive supply switching valve.
When the valve is switched, the actuator can operate in both directions using compressed drive air only, without using the gas extracted from the source cylinder to power the return stroke.
This solution allows the source cylinder to be emptied almost completely, which results in significant and measurable savings when working with expensive gases such as helium.
Please note that when the double-acting drive air mode is activated, the actuator consumes approximately twice the amount of compressed air compared to standard operation.
ADDITIONAL EQUIMPMENT
For proper operation of the system, an air pressure regulator with a hose is required, allowing the unit to be supplied from compressed air sources up to 200 bar inlet pressure.
The pressure regulator, hose and hose clamps are not included in the standard set and are available as optional equipment.

Pumping rate is dependent on the type of gas, the pressure difference between the one in source and inflated cylinder and actual number of strokes per minute. This amount is variable and depends on the pressure in the cylinders.
This booster does not need lubrication. After one year of use the device should be returned to the service for cleaning.
